April 5, 2002, Newsletter Issue #87: Um-m-m, It Is So Good!

Tip of the Week

Always have vegetables available for your children to eat and make sure they see you eating and enjoying them, too. If they notice you enjoying its taste, they just may decide that they like it, too. If they observe you forcing yourself to eat vegetables you don’t like, but eating them to be healthy, it is unlikely they will want to eat them either. Children are great imitators of their parents and remember you are their role model! Emphasize how good it tastes, not how good it is for their health.
