If you know the exact location you will be moving to you can often you can locate the school that he will be attending. Write to the school telling them your plans and suggesting that they set your son up with a pen pal or two or even the whole class. This is a great way for him to get to know people and when he starts school he will have less stress, because he “knows” some of the kids already.
