If the weather does not permit outdoor activities, you can stay active indoors. Join an indoor gym and shoot some hoops with your son, walk/run/jog the track, or work out on the equipment. If this is not within your budget, get some inexpensive hand weights and do some strength training exercises at home or pop a fitness tape in the VCR and get moving, whether it is low-impact step aerobics or the latest Tae Bo workout. You can pick up some great workout equipment for practically nothing at garage and yard sales. No excuses, no regrets.
