Keep Junk Food Out of the House

If you don't want your kids to be junk-food junkies, then keep junk food out of the house. Provide other nutritious snacks and they won't miss it. It may be okay to buy a bag of chips or pick up a few cookies at the bakery from time to time (no more than once a month or so), just don't make it a regular habit. There are nutritious snacks that are quick, convenient, and more important, will satisfy that craving for junk food.
