Tip of the Week

Children tend to imitate their parents, so make sure they see you eating and enjoying healthy foods. As a toddler, my daughter constantly wanted a bite of my salad. Since a lettuce salad is not something you generally eat with your fingers, it was not part of the food I put on her plate. She naturally assumed it was something I liked, and therefore, decided she would like it, too. Take advantage of the tendency humans have to want to do what they are not supposed to do. If they think it is a special treat, they will want it.
