Once or twice a month, make some Rice Krispy treats for dessert, or pick up some frozen yogurt at the store. Include one (not a dozen) Hershey kisses in their lunchbox (and please do not eat the rest yourself!), or buy cereal bars such as Nutri-Grain bars or other nutritious granola bars (Caution, not all granola bars are healthy choices so read the labels!). And low-fat microwave popcorn sure beats a bag of potato chips when watching TV and you have a bad case of the munchies. You will reap healthier kids, and your waistline should be much smaller.
